Cindy has a passion for embracing the innovations that are shaping the future of fashion. Tom and Cindy launched the first Melange Expo in the New Mart in 2015 to celebrate the convergence of Fashion and Technology. Any new technologies that improve the sustainability of apparel design and production are of particular interest. Cindy is a master artist across multiple disciplines including Ceramics, Oils and Bronzes.

Tom is a proven global brand marketer with a strong track record of success in Licensing, Retail, e-Commerce and Consumer Products. He’s held global leadership roles in Publishing (Newsweek & Life); Sports Marketing (2 FIFA World Cups) Footwear & Apparel (L.A. Gear & K-Swiss) Toy(Mattel); Broadcasting (B.B.C. Worldwide) and Family Online Privacy (Privo) Tom continues to be an award-winning pioneer in global retail execution, omni-commerce and new media.

MARK ROBINSON  |  COO
BOARD OF DIRECTOR AND ADVISOR FOR FASHION TECHWORKS LLC

Out of school was hired by the RAND Corporation as an Infrastructure Specialist and was moved into an overseas assignment for another agency until 1980.

 

Worked for the Teledyne Health care group as the group marketing manager then as the group VP of marketing resigned in 1984 and was one of the founders of NOVAX International who purchased MaskCo in LA CA. and moved it two years later to Taiwan and then to China sold to W.  Fitzwilton and Makerite in the 1990 and 1992. NOVAX International was the 2nd largest private label mask company in the world when we sold.

 

In 2003 he was one of the founders of Katmandu Inc an apparel company based in the United States and sold in 2017 and 2018 in 3 parts. The IP was kept in a company called Susarel and is now under contract to sell the IP to a Russian VC based in the United States.

 

Susarel is still run as a COLOR consulting group that specializes in Kinetic Colorization ( A FORM OF DYE SUBLIMATION)  but also consults with various companies on made in America materials for PPE and Apparel coloring.
